I just got back from a 3-week fantabulostic permaculture course taught at Quail Springs. The amount of information received exceeded my expectations, the quality of knowledge transfer almost blew my mind. My taste buds were completely satisfied as well as my mind, body, and soul. Hey everybody (Jorge),

I have a flat and a half of baby winter veggies, collard greens, radish, bok choy, chinese kale, and so on that need to be planted within the nest week or so. I have used up all my space and want to share my bounty. If you need them let me know. I also have some sweet heirloom seeds from the seed savers exchange, which I will not be using this season because I used all I need. Some include 2 types of winter squash. Holla at ya boy if needs be.

I have bought dog beds with ceder chips so i bought a bag of "pet bedding" ceder chips at K-Mart, touted as a natural flea control product. i started with the artichokes and then put it all around the plants by the front door --snail and slug-- paradise. BINGO! I'll keep you posted it this works the way i think it will!
