Hey Everyone,
I'm a student at Poly and have become interested in Permaculture from my parents who are working to build a very green home and permaculture garden up in Washington. I have no experience, but a fast learning curve and would love to se…
Bummer! Next time.. Have you talked to the lady who started Neighborhood Produce Exchange by the way? I'm trying to get in contact with her regarding her website.
Hey Zac, I could put the book to good use if you still have it, and I will make sure to either return it to you or pass it on to another fellow permie. 805.443.2058. Paz
Great to hear from you. The course was amazing, as well as the people, the place, and space. Last I heard from you was that you were planning on retreating to Hawaii for a bit. Let me know if you are still in slo and would like to get together.

good luck with grafting the avos. In my past experiance with same, the seedlings always got sick and died b4 I could graft on fruiting varieties. I'm not sure but I think u will need disease resistant rootstock to startwith, then graft on the fruiting narieties u want to harvest.
However I do have a loquat that is like 10 feet, and that was grown from seed in a slo greenhouse, then tp'd(transplanted. not toilet papered : } ). I believe that would do well with grafts...are loquat and avo in the same family?
have a great day!
